Ok, what is the code, for if i want a word to be a hyperlink for a picture?


Say I have the words "click here" and the picture is htttp://www.willy/wonka.jpg (name picked completely at random LOL - and there is an extra t in the HTTP bit so it doesn't turn into a link *wink* )

All advice gratefully recieved!

I can do that Matt - what i want is for the picture to not be there, but if you click on the text that says "click here" then the image opens in a new window...

had to do a quick google to refresh my memory, i wrote my schools website in html in notepad, but that was about 9 years ago :S

is the html/body bit actually needed - ie

or can i just use the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx bit?

This is for putting a link in an ebay auction BTW. I note i can use 'standard' or HTML in the description builder...

if it is a *.htm or *.html file then yes it is needed :) its part of the structure of the file. see what i wrote above, copy and paste it into notepad, rename it "something.html" and then open it in a web browser :)

if you are adding the <a href="htttp://www.willy/wonka.jpg">click here</a> to an existing html file then it will already contain the html / body tags so jsut throw it in there :)

on its own should be fine i would have thought, as they will have structured the page for you anyways.
