Selling 1962 Morris Minivan Project

Im Selling my project minivan - i had a lot of plans for it, but a job move and youngun has put a halt to it.

Its a 1962 Morris Minivan with an old style Number plate (### ###), its basically complete appart from engine, gearbox, fuel tank and a few other odds and sods. During the inital strip down i removed the doors, bonnet, wiring loom and non-original engine. These were put into storage appart from the engine which was sold. I had planned to chemical dip the shell, but never got round to it.

The shell itself is a bit of a mess, its not unsaveable, but its no easy task.

The following shell components would have to be replaced - wings, front pannel, scuttle, a-pannels, sills and front floor (i.e usual rust spots)

The inner wings would need to be repaied along with the heel and toe boards.

However, the load bay, roof and sides are all fairly easily recoverable. It has had a webasto fitted in the past.

Dont underestimate the amount of work needed and i would recomend a visit to look at it before you buy. However, you wont find an early van which doesnt need a substantial amount of work - trust me i've been looking for a van for 4years!

The asking price is a nominal £400 which is about what i paid for it.

It will obviously have to be collected with a trailer or dolly (i collected it myself on a dolly, although if you decide to collect on a dolly do so at your own risk)

The last 3 early minivans on ebay have all gone for £4,500+ in good nick with the highest being £50 short of £6k. Projects vary from £500-800. I also need a quick sale.
