Has anyone got the measurments to hand on where the valve cut outs need to be on a standard 1275 bore

There isnt a particular measurement i had to dry build my engine with the valves out and using a transfer punch nice fit in guides marked the top of the pistons while at TDC i used this mark as the centre for the cutouts hope this helps.

the book I have only shows the cut outs for the 8v

Valve cuts may well be different from engine to engine and why i would suggest you mark them as per turboestate suggests.

As for the depth, it again depends how you build the engine as to whether you want an interference engine or non interference engine.

I have the figures for the RS cams and a non interference engine, PM me *wink*
