Hi please can you help with some quick question to help with my daily runner, its not a turbo but I this is the only forum I use.

Is the rad fan fitted the wrong way ?

What is this used for ?

I can no longer fit these as I have changed the brake thing, what can I do ?

Why does this speedo cable no longer fit ? what one do I need ?

Any help please will be greatly appreciated and if you think any other advice you think might help.

Never done any of this before !!!

The metro and mini have a different sized square that the sppedo cable fits into. This is probably your problem here.

This has got me thinking now, so should the fan be drawing air in from the wheel arch or blowing it out via the arch? I would have thought blowing it out.

Blowing it out...

But it does that whichever way round you fit it.

The blade angle is the same whether its on backwards or not, BUT, the aerofoil section of the blade (curved leading edge, tapered trailing edge) is only correct if its on the right way round.

That does explain quite a lot. I have been looking at my fan for some time thinking - I'm sure it would work better the other way round.

Ahh well it will do for now until I pull the engine for the turbo. Then I'll fix it.

sorry - thread hi-jack
