I have found this on ebay and was wondering what a fair price would be.

Thanks
James

I've already put £60 on it with reserve not met.

I think I paid 100 for a complete engine & box without the injection stuff but that was a while back and prices seem to have gone up.

I bought one for £126 (I think?) for the complete head/cams/injectors/throttle bodies.

I can only see the prices going up, hence getting one in stock for a rainy day.

Just be aware if it's a 1983 head it will need leaded fuel, 1986 on were the unleaded versions.

surely if ther alloy heads tehre wont be a difference between leaded and unleaded as they will all require valve seats!?

That's what I thought but I've been told different by a few people. I think although they all have inserts as you say maybe the earlier ones were cast iron?

I might wait for an unleaded one. £85 and reserve still not met. Don't know if I want to strech for a leaded one.*oh well*

Doubt very much that a touring bike that is 25 years old has done ONLY 38000 miles, more like 380,000.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
