I am aware of the problems/mods needed to get a Metro Turbo into a roundnose: turbo box, auto subframe.

Is the same true for a Clubman???

or with the larger front end no mods are needed????

Never done it, but would have to say it will need the bulk head mod, you can't pull the engine forward, because the drive shafts will be at an unpleasent angle!

However, fitting a front rad and intercooler should be piss easy.
(Well as easy as it gets in a mini anyway) *wink*

I've not done it, but I was going to. I was going to use a metro rad / header tank and all that stuff, Standard subframe (maybe welded to the body for extra strength), and using an avonbar bulkhead box. - I was doing it on the cheap, so I'm sure there would be a better way.. *smiley* - best bet is just to try it, and see what probs you run into.

Billy

What is the intercooler from if you don't mind me asking?
Seems that one of those might be suitable for my application as it isn't too tall.

Cheers *smiley*

yup it was already turbo'ed but with a high compression bottom end
that I managed to get to about 1 bar of boost for quite a wile before it devoloped a knock
now it has a 21'000 mile metro turbo bottom end
the head in the pic ,cossie IC , dump valve
running an injection tank
it has spax and negative camber arm's and adjustable tie rod's
high low's to be fitted and adjustable rear camber bracket's to be fitted
powerwise I ain't got a clue
I'm running around on just 4psi most of the time now as I can't afford to blow it up again
and the clutch start's slipping anything over 8psi
so a perect excuse to be nice to the engine as it was stood for about 10 year's
