First: Is the waste gate actuator actuated by the boost direct at the compressor or better at the plenum?
Second: if i run a dump valve do I have to block the std overpressure valve?

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

I & i think most others run the actuator off the compressor housing, not sure what it would be like sensing boost from the plenum ?

Actuator is connected to the compressor and the over boost/popoff valve it the plenum is best blocked off. It will not effect your dumpvalve. Just keep your eye on your boost gauge for over boost and the ears open for nasty detonation.

Staffordshire or Northamptonshire

Block off the over pressure valve.

I run my waste gate actuator from the plenum. I cant see that it would make a difference in a non intercooled ibnstallation. However you get a pressure drop over an intercooler. So if you plumb your actuator into the compressor housing, it will see more pressure than the engine. I think smaller more restrictive intercoolers would lose power, partic at high higher revs as the intercooler would be trying to flow maximum volume of air and would so be seeing maximum pressure drop over it.
