First: Is the waste gate actuator actuated by the boost direct at the compressor or better at the plenum?

I & i think most others run the actuator off the compressor housing, not sure what it would be like sensing boost from the plenum ?

Actuator is connected to the compressor and the over boost/popoff valve it the plenum is best blocked off. It will not effect your dumpvalve. Just keep your eye on your boost gauge for over boost and the ears open for nasty detonation. On 21st Jan, 2011 fastcarl said:

Block off the over pressure valve.
