i wonder if anyone on here has a bit of knowledge on old 1960's roofing sheets .
are they deff going to be 10% asbestos cement mix ,
is there a way i can tell , and whats the sit on re using them if i move a sectional garage ?
if i cant then how does the disposal system work , i read that one could take them 8 sheets at a time to the tip is that still true ?
any help greatfully received .

regards robert
(ps i have no problem working with it ,since i know the fibres are locked in the cement unless abraded ,and these are in v good condition ,transportation would involve a lot of bubble wrap !)

Go to your councils website and do a search on "asbestos".
Most won't accept it at the tips but will collect it as "hazardous waste".
Mine charges (a lot) for this service, but some collect it for free.
As you say though, it's pretty safe if undamaged so could be re-used, there are also "sealer" type paints available if it's getting slightly flakey or dusty.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
