998 Cooper Engine & Box

I have a 998 cooper engine and box for sale. The engine is of unknown condition, but looks in generally ok condition. A quick measure of the bore shows about 65mm. I have not had the crank off or the pistons out. Have a look at the photos. The head is not with the engine as it is on Wil's 998 turbo. It is complete with oil filter, timing chain, flywheel, clutch and clutch housing. I also have a dynamo for sale separately. (Oh and I plan to keep the pulley)

The box is the early type and is definitely in need of a rebuild. The remote selector I don't have. Again see the pictures for general condition.

Make me an offer if you are interested. I won't post either of them, so you can collect from Melton Mowbray, or I am going to Wil's in Harrogate at the weekend so i can take them there. I may be at Mini v Beetles too.

I thought 998 cooper engines had pistons with a raised D shape in the crown?

It may well have at some point, but not this one at this point.
