I have been waiting almost 5 months for a set of Accralites. Avonbar are at the mercy of the suppliers and they only make them in batches but I'm approaching the time when I need to get this engine back together and still no pistons.. I'm climbing up the wall...

Totally. The omegas are good pistons. You have the added benefit of knowing that if you take a single piston out, you can also buy one at a time from a supplier that has them on the shelf.

I run the Accralite, not had a problem with them, and I had great service and price from Avonbar. That said, I'd have no problems on using omega's either On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

Most of the piston manufacturers can make custom sets, usually in 4-6 weeks or less.
