are verto and non-verto the same?

On Verto clutches is the external spring necessary? If so where does it latch onto on the slave cylinder?

iain , you think right mate.

As some people run a verto cylinder (with out realising there is different types) on a non verto clutch, and they never have a nice pedal and getting in gear is always on the limit, as like you say the travel is different.
