ive always used the servo pipe, involves less gaskets to go wrong and more carb clearance with the bulkhead too. Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

i shall use that servo pipe then, was just curious as according to the haynes book of lies it has a one way valve or something coming out of the inlet manifold, so wanted to make sure that wouldnt effect the dump valve. I have only just had the carb off so really didnt fancy taking off again if its not necessary.

does yours not have that one way valve bolted in there which goes off to the air filter?

I drilled a hole in the side of the servo pipe banjo and brazed in a bit of stainless pipe to connect the dump valve hose to. |

As long as you are the manifold side of the vale it'll make no difference. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

cheers guys, i have a t'piece that came in the fitting kit which is the size of the servo pipe, but if i get keen ile just pull the carb off and use the modded spacer. Started fitting that maniflow system earlier "metro turbo" you have to modify the downpipe to turbo clamp slightly by grinding down the edges of the clamp as it is to small for the bigger pipe, but fits ok after that. Tightening the elbow to downpipe clamp on the drive in the snow wasnt overly pleasant mind!
