anyone had issues with the two middle pots not fiing ? Jordie has been having issues with his motor ? also it seems to be going through BK450 head gaskets like confetti ?

RICHI is it turbo ?

if so i suspect the CR ratio is too high for the boost hhe is using...... det taking the weakist link out *frown*

been there buddy, also check the head and block faces for flatness

you have got to sort the issue of the det out
oh ! just one thing is the torque wrench up to it ?????
cracking off on earlier ???

std 4psi boost

head checked and skimmed 12thou to make it flat when the 1st headgasket went.

Done it with 2 good working torque wrenches.

Am getting another engine, so bugger it. will flog it on once ive decided which has the best turbo etc.

Pot 1 (radiator end) reads 13bar compression
Pot 2 = 8bar
3 = 12bar
4 = 13bar

Pot 2 went upto 10 when we put a drop of oil in it.

engine too lean aiding det is my thoughts

he didnt get the chance to. it was popped in, new head gasket, and then taken for a beast around the industrial estate. i beleive he setup the fuel mixture himself with some of the lads from the club.

here is the build thread. (Jordie you should have put it on here too *wink* ) there is a video of his project in action, this was a very very quick turn around bearing in mind the bodywork that was needed, and its his first stab at forced induction.
