the 1l engine i took out of me mini had a 276 cam, modified 1275 head with 36 30 valves, ported and 1.5 roller rockers on it, would these be ok to fit onto my turbo engine or could they course it to not run right? also at which stage would you need to mod the gearbox and what would be the first things that need modifying? how much power can a rebuilt standard gearbox take? thanks for the help.

The 276 cam can be used & will work ok, the rockers & the head can be used, but you need to measure the volume of the chambers in the head to make sure it hasn't been skimmed, in which case you may struggle to get the compression low enough for Turbo use.
A well built helical box can take a fair increase in torque, but the diff is the weak link, closely followed by the drop/transfer gears.
