would anyone be able to knock me up a couple of copper brake pipes up M10x1mm male one end, M12x1mm male the other end, 55-60cm long?

Off to the scrappy you go for a pair of s/h unions to suit then! Then just get these made up into the pipes you need.

Many motor factors do sell copper brake lines, which are cheap crap.
