... for basic things like swapping engine numbers?

Need to get a V5 changed on an vehicle I'm importing, just wondering on how long this'll take...

ive sent minis to usa with wrong engine numbers, chassis plates and the last one had wrong numberplates on after taking off a private plate, and never had any problems

Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

my mates v5 went through in 3 days... he changed his engine number, somthing which i need to do but keep forgetting to do, tbh i dont know how to go about doing it, any pointers :)

I have had no problems recently. We traded the wifes car in a month or so ago and had to deal with the plate transfer etc. We had the new V5s for both the new car and her old one exactly 1 week after the paperwork was collected at the local DVLA office, much to the surprise of the dealer who was taking the old one as part -ex.

The last few minis i've bought have all come through within 7-10 days

Generally all my dealings have been with change of keeper - not sure if it makes a differance. They're not slow issuing fines for not sorn'ing things though!

yeah...always taken ages had to request a new V5 for my clubby, took ages got it the day before riv-run last year...talk about cutting it fine!

is it a mini? if it is it might be easier #cough# to change the engine number to suit your v5.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
