These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Here are the maps I am thinking about taking to the R/R.
All basically the same but different boost advances from 18-26 in 2 degree steps.

I attached files and it went OK, when I look at the post they are not there. Just looked again and looks like it will only accept certain types of files, OK.. I'll try that again with zipped files..

Sorry to dig this back up, but i'm in search of an ignition map for a Stage 1 998 to work with, as the current map i'm using isn't all that great! (the one i'm currently using is from the autosport labs site; a map someone had submitted on their forums)

I'd love to know how to write my own maps but I wouldnt even know where to start!

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

James.

Would you also like Megasquirt maps uploading to your site as I have one for the van (MS1v3 ECU).

I'm tinkering with it at the mo but I can load my base map.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve

Old hardware came out both cars through the winter for upgrades/ more fettling I should have the skyline maps still on the ms3 but I upgraded the firmware on the ms2 (mini) when I pulled the engine its not a huge loss as my mini is now vtec powered but felt like a kick in the balls when I realised my megasquirt folder was not set for auto backing up on my net drive

edit: I thought you said hardware.. Unfortunately not it was a hard drive failure that killed the laptop :(

you could always drop in the MJ base map, thats about as safe as it gets, as long as you dont start thrashing it about.

I would and currently am, but thats my option to run my mini on a map.

The choice is yours really.

I'm sure there are more peps on hear who could give more advice on the stock MAP.
