with only 5 and a bit weeks to go i thought i'd start a thread here to see who else is planning on heading down to Newquay at the start of May for the riv run.

so far i know Ric will be there in his turbo after recently reintroducing it back to the UK's roads, i'll be there in mine once its all back together, and hopefully we might even be able to convince Nic in his and Matty in the 16v to attempt the 250 odd mile trek down to Cornwall if their cars are running OK by then!

anyone else planning on going down (either in a turbo or not)??

me, kean and anton have got a van sorted for this year again. although none of us will be in minis.

i think i'll still kind of be in a turbo car though, co-piloting keans 200sx.

i'll be there but not in the mini. its only about a year away from completion!! will probs be sat if i go down so will look out for some poeple

I'm going down in the mini pick up.
1380 supercharged unit is still on the bench for that one.

Was also hoping to bring the 59 I recently bought.

I've even taken next week off to work on the minis.

I think im gonna pass on driving down in the mini this year, at the moment I don't really have a choice as its not drivable at the moment.

Im going on the Friday to I can have a few beers whilst watching everyone else arrive.

Im bringing my playing cards and more than likely a bottle or two of Jager so I appologise now for my actions!

Also im double booked, forgot all about the other thing and ive just been reminded when i asked a friend about it ha ha. Always next year.

The main problem is if it rains your screwed, plus the fridge in the caravans come in very handy for keeping the beer cool!

Just realised this is when we'll be in Bude for a week. Might have a ride down to Newquay to see if there are any mini's about

Really looking forward to this now, just hope the mini makes it down... :/
