Friend of mine is in the RC helecoptor game, showed me this video of a 5 year old kid doing "3D" flying.. Apparently he's been flying for a couple of years now..

And when you think about the left/right being reversed when it facing towards you and the up/down and left/right reversed when its upside down --- I cant even imagine what you do when its flying upside down tail first towards you ---Crash I think!! website:- http://www.terryhunt.co.uk

i used to fly them too, 3d 8nt that hard to be fair you just got to have the right blades fitted and a healthy appreciation that the rebuild cost will be big if you plant it !

I would say the same except for the skill he shows when landing it, and when flying upside down clsoe the the ground :) thats difficult! |

Mines an untrained eye as well, but just from the way he makes "measured" movements of the sticks shows me he knows what he is doing! Amazing!

yeah he does the collective stick (the one on the right) the center point becomes idle, up is positive collective and down is used when inverted (changes the pitch on the blades)

yep can you imagine being hit with the one on the footage, those blades are pretty much zipping around, and what makes em more scary, for 3d flying carbon blades are used for regidity !!! slice and dice

me mate had a concept EP and he flew it through his mams bay window, twas not so bad except the heli was a crippa pressy and it was only the 19th dec !! he had found it and started playing OOPS !!! i got sent home that day :(
