does anyone know if you can buy rocker covers to fit over
1.5 roller rockers, or do they all have to be machined.
Cos right now my brand new turbo head looks like its got a bread tin on it !

The MG metro rockers fit over 1.5s. The MS ones are a bit tight and need tapping back to clear the rockers.

Basically, if you fit the MG cover and half tighten it. The tap it back towards the bulkhead with a hammer. The tighten it down. This is what we do with the TT and it is fine.

Agreed. Use a new rocker gasket, with an MG rocker cover - fits fine.

I had to modify (grind) an MG one to fit over MED rockers (and not the expensive LD ones). I think the make of rockers will affect which covers do and don't fit.

Stupidly (to me) MEDs alloy rocker cover doesn't fit over their own rockers!

My alloy ones doesn't fit over my Minisport rockers. keep grinding more out of it to try and sort it. Could do with getting a steel orringal one again.
