Hi, i need to split some bbs rims, they have multi star shaped bolts holding the inner piece in, these have more points than the current tools i have to remove the rim (if that makes sense |

Try draper tools i know they do some star shape bits as i have some for work, dont what sizes they do though as the ones i use are for diesel injection pumps! |

I got one from my local autofactors. BBS *SHOULD* be just the many-pointed-star sockets.

cheers chaps, yeah tried ebay etc, loads of the 5/6 pointed ones but the bolts in the rims have 10+ points (would a pic help?) |

halfords profecional ones are good, Mac tools, Snap-on(mac ones are better imo alot stronger), machine mart, ect they do good ones Drives

Yes, the 10 point star sockets. regular sockets for BBS.

They look a bit like something i have in a sealey set will take a look in my van tomo! Not sure what they are called though! |

na they are alot finer than torx mate, vag use them alot, like on their driveshaft couplings. just another tool you have to buy for the workshop! |

Had a look in my set today and i would go with above and would say that they are splne drives! They seem to be sized as per the bolt size as i have sizes 5-10 ad pressume it means mm. Have a search for seally products, cheap aswell! |
