i think mine would be close to jons too. I didn't try to lift the back of jons car up, I know my back end is light, I can lift it clean off the floor

i reckon it will be a shade lighter, you've got the doors and front end that will weigh a fair bit less.

Dave, would certainly have been interesting to see what yours weighed. no weigh bridge at work?

Well there are some very impressive figures for lightness on here, well done to you all.
And carls with the other engine in is still bloo-y light!

Well who's is going to be heavier Mine or Daves???? I have a weight bridge that I can use this week so it might be a laugh to get the old girls weight.

Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

I am made of carbon fibre and Fosters.

Yes 685KG...

Plus a 12kg back up battery and a 2kg ish helmet so 699kg in Avon park trim.

Others years i've taken out the passenger seat and front half of the cage but i could'nt be arsed this year, that would be another 18kg off.

Your car weight I meant Dave, NOT YOU!

Even 699KGs Jon, is still Very light, well done on that as I've just had mine on the weigh bridge and it was 780KGs :( (with out me in it)

So power to weight ratios..

MW...

1000 divided by 850KG(car/driver) X 224bhp = 263.53 bhp per tonne

JF...

1000/699 x 165bhp(last RR) = 236.05 bhp per tonne

So is it the final drive number again??

hmmm, Just had mine on the work weighbridge and it says my car is 790kg with me in it...

But i don't see a calibration certificate since th weighbridge was moved 15 months ago....
Guess these are like Rolling Roads; different readings depending on where you go!

I was on the lorries a few months back. I would weigh in the arctic at up to 42 tonnes, that is 42000kg!. I put my 306 on it and it was 1270 with boot full of beer and me. When i got out of the car the weight did drop by 100kg, approx my weight.

This was a modern new bridge.

So the power to weight ratio of my Scania was...

9.999 per tonne!!

Nice!!

Maybe if there is another RR day we should get a set of scales there too. I'd guess mine is around 560 (or at least I hope so) but it would be nice to know.
