How do people get this tightened upto the required torque setting? When I try the gearbox rocks about all over the place. |

I installed two anchor bolts into the garage floor and bolt the box to them. Carefull which way round you bolt the box when tightening and loosening On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Use a couple of g clamps to workbench or even workmate as you can stand on it as you tighten it! On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

I used to use the sill of a car - but the 4 post is much easier to raise/lower!

to get the 1st motion shaft nut off/torque it up i had to put the gearbox under the car, i used my new impact wrench to get the pinion nut off though.... no worries!
