My engine popped aswell, although I knew it would being an N/A lump. It was nicely running 8 psi from the T25, but I couldn't fight the temptation to unwind the bleed valve, oops! *blush*

So my toolbox should contain a headgasket and a torque wrench as well as hand tools than?
Thats why you make the cars lighter, to carry a full workshop around, complete with fluids.

yeah, i am running std boost at the mo, but it aint set up.
i think my actuator is weak also because its now seeming to over boost a lot! loads more turbo whistle and loads of turbo chatter.
so i am trying to take it steady till i can afford to have it set up.

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

If your actuator is weak it will not hold the waste gate shut properly and you will see less boost, if you're overboosting chances are your pipe to the actuator is leaking/split, this is probably the whistling sound .....
