I'm going to make a manifold to fit a GT17 without bulkhead mods for Sturgeo's motor.

Bit pricey I would say Paul, but then I'm not scared of trying it myself...

Basically, I have no objection to the deadline or worksmanship. The price reflects the product, which I have no problem with I'd imagine very labour intensive to produce.

if I didn't already have a mirage manifold, I'd go for this. looks like it would flow better than the mirage (not that it doesn't flow well)

I'm currently debating whether to put my recently acquired GT17 on my 5 port head or just get off my backside and get on with my 8v K head conversion.

For stateside folks, it = $600, which is a lot of money*. I like the design, it's perhaps arguably the most superior layout (and perhaps the only way to get a decent layout) which fits in with the 'no cutting bulkhead' principle (bearing in mind there is the mirage, then the plagiarised mirage already on the marketplace).

I would be interested, it looks like the mirrage setup i have will be staying on the mini ive just fitted it to, would be interested in one when I pull my finger out and get on with the minus again, but I have no idea when that will be.

First off, I know a T2 would fit on this without bulkhead mods, but didnt someone on here have issues fitting a gt17 between the block and the bulkhead? (I might be mistaken??)

Yeah Bat tried it and it wouldn't quite fit. That was on a mirage manifold though, so it may work with these ones of Pauls! Edited by matty on 8th Apr, 2008. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

I think that I need to make a couple to start with. One for Sturgeo and another for someone who can prove that it is capable of 200hp plus.

Was it the block it fouled Paul? I thought it was the crossmember as he didnt have a bulkhead box? I will admit I may be talking crap tho, please feel free to correct when im wrong.

Shane It was the cam sensor boss on the back of the MPi block that fouled in Bat's case. I'll be checking for clearance, block and crossmember at the weekend. My car is a 93 K reg which makes at a Mk5? I think that the engine sits slightly further forward than the Mk1-4. Can anyone confirm? Looking at mine (even though I have a bulkhead box) im sure it would fit without a box so I think it is doable.

Picture of a GT1752 in place as promised. Just a few millimetre clearance on the compressor housing. A light touch with a BFH will sort that out.
