I've acquired (completely legally, I hasten to add) a reasonably decent Sony CD headunit, however it is missing the plastic surround that clips round it once it is clipped into the metal cage, and also a knob that fits on the front to alter the volume etc.

Might sound unbelievable, but Halfords might be able to help you here. They could get these sort of spare parts 13 years ago when I worked there.

i snapped mine and went to the local audio specialist, was about £10 and they ordered Crystal Sound Audio said:
