TBH, it might be easier to find some form of pump to use as a blower.

have a look at the astra 1.7dti turbo's. they are something like t15/t12 or maybe even gt15/gt12 it slips my mind but i know that they are tiny turbos so probably a good place to start looking.

see if you can find any compressor maps for them and then see if they are suitable. pretty much the smallest i have seen to be honest. (i have not seen a vast amount though to be honest.

Mines not as small as everyone on this forum thinks it is you know..

(Gt15 that is) I think the GT12 is the best bet, GT15 is suggested to be for 1100-1600cc and up to 200 bananas

I dont think a 125cc will have enough puff to blow a normal turbo.

i only want to do this as a fun project! just to get some silly antics going!

obviously the better it works then thats all good too! i'll get some pics of the bike in question & i'm sure you all know what honda single cylinder engine i'm using, if i had to i suppose i could use a parrallel twin honda motor to help the boost, i need to measure the frame yet!

my brakes & forks work & it has a tank ^ seat so ...........turbo motor is next lol

once i have the engine in & running anyone from the midlands that wants to give a hand to get it going on a turbo by all means *surprised*D plz help cheeky i know, plus the bike is that small i can put it in the car, seriously!!!!!

Could you use some kind of 2 stroke style expansion pipe to help it get spinning up a turbo if it proved to be too large?

ive never quite understood the pricipals of the expansion pipe on a 2-stroke. a slightly educated guess would be that it increases the speed of the gasses coming out of the cylinder while somehow still keeping the neccessary back pressure that they require?? i think a trip to google is on the cards.

it does increases the back pressure simply, which thinking about it 2 strokes like, but 4 strokes dont....

leeds/wakefield.

i was lead to beleive the spanny was similar to the reverse cone megaphone used on 4 strokes, ie, some where for the gasses to release to when the throttle is snapped open.

boys the bike typw has changed at the last minute!!!!

its now a VESPA with a 4 speed box & an massive engine!!!!!!

a whole 50cc i reckon it makes the same power as matt woods mini lol

i can push the boat out to make it 90 or 112cc but not sure if i can turbo it with it being based on a 50! i can put the bigger early px125 motor in if i can get one cheap as chips, thats the sencinble start to tune it, its 2stroke as many will know

i've seen a turbo vespa on youtube very quick for what it is!

i gotta paint the body! & bolt it together, seems dead simple!
i reckon it'll be a laugh

ring a ding ding ding!!!!
