I like it!!!
Very tidy install and it looks like you've still got loads of room left. It's good to see that you went for the 'green' filter. They induce more air than K&N's and pipercross filters. Shame you can't get it to the front of the engine bay.
Top job

it made a max of 85 bhp at the wheels

but I settled for 81 with a much steeper curve that came in earlier in the rev range

Nice pics mate.

You have a fuel filter in the pic, (good idea to have one) However be careful that, that type doesn't break.

The reason I am saying that is I was going to put one like that in my car and I'm sure that it said on the packet some thing about it must not go above a certain PSI which I thought at the time it would go past, so I mounted it behind the fuel pump so it's not under pressure.

Just some thing for you to think about.

AlexF, I work for Avonbar Racing, Thats how i know. hehe. 'Green' filters don't filter aswell as K&N's and pipercross but i'm sure they flow more air.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Hmm so a choice of filtering well and protecting your investment or getting enough air? Know which id choose.

If the K&N is not flowing enough then just choose a different spec one with a greater surface area.

Think you find that though they dont flow as much air, they flow more than enough (by a long way) for our engines. Check out the rated HP of these filters and flow figures.
