I always do my own work on my cars, so I haven't a clue what is considered reasonable.

Well I can tell you that my local garage will do a basic service for 60 quid, but that is real basic. Just oil and filter change, not even an air filter. You are looking at more like £120 for all filters and plugs, then brakes on top of that, which I don't really know. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Yeah just over 2hrs work, but then there is the running about to the factors to get the parts etc etc. Fingers crossed he'll be happy with it, well, hes not really got a choice LOL

for me, parts £25 oil filter plugs airfilter break fluid minus the oil and total service i charge my mates about 50-60 in total, other people a bit more :) Drives

i only service friends cars i charge them £20 per hour, including going to the local motor factors, and for parts,

the local garages here can do a 'service' from £49 but i think that extends to moving the car into the workshop and back out again - I would be surprised if they even opened the bonnet!

£45 for a service as a foriegner is spot on tom imo. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

1-1.5 hours to change disks and pads... front and rears on the cars i have done w/o airtools is about 40-50 mins with air tools about 30or less w/o bleeding Drives
