My bulkhead gets so hot It cannot even be touched :)

I only have one heatshield in place; the one under the carb ..

I do however have another heatshiled but I do not have a clue where it goes; can anyone send me a pic of where it should go ?

Also does anyone else get this heat problem :)

if so any recomendations on how to get round it ??

Cheers

Mine doesn't get that hot TBH...

I'd try some flexible trunking from the front of the car to the area where the turbo / carb is maybe?

Hang on - you have got bonnet vent(s) haven't you???

avonbar do sheets of heat proof stuff which is pretty good which you can stick to the bulk head but i would be a bit conserned with that much heat? mind you ive never felt mine always had the heat sheet stuck on it though from start

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

You need heat reflective cloth. You can get different grades of it, some thicker than others and some more effective. I'd tend to go for the thicker grades. Try calling Trident racing supplies at silverstone. I have some in the workshop i can sell you.
