Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure this has been done to death, but here goes...

I'm running a 1293 engine in my mini. I am very interested in turbo'ing it.

What is needed and at what cost?!

cost all depends on what you want to get out of the engine.

I cant decide whether to go for a turbo or run a Nitrous system.

If you wanna sell let us know first... unless you wanna straight swap engines?!

err no thanks mate *smiley* only be selling it to build a higher power setup

turbo is the way to go, can always add nitrous after then if you want.

Just remember you dont have to keep filling a turbo up, plus for a good nitrous system the costs would be similar to a turbo that would produce power all day long.

Doesnt take a big budget to have 100horses day in day out.

Ive got various bits and bobs you'll need, just look out for a 1275 engine, not an mg just one with normal compression and turbo that. they are good for turbo'in and very cheap too.

then you just need a few bits like carb, turbo and dizzy and your away.
