TD: I have a pair of S2 recaro seats, what is involved in bolting them down? The rear mounts foul on the tunnel and the front mounts seem to only be able to bolt on to the front or rear of the X tunnel which gives minimal or too much leg room. Speedster turbo under construction |

What you have to do is 'lose' the Ford mounting plates and Make your own.

As another tip - use them such that the 'winder' is on the inside (next to the tunnel). This lets them go further back...

Nice one. I have not got any rear bins so that isn't an issue.. I have been needing to fit the seats for some time now so that I can figure out how much of the rear deck I need to cut out for the seats to be in a comfortable position.

dan's corbeau's are slim, as were the sparco sprints. sprints are only around ?95 each as well so they're a bargain to be had!! |

they're the low back vinyl ones, kinda retro looking, not in your face buckets. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

b12 , Yes the clubman was my first chose as well, However a friend has just fitted them in his mini, (he finds them comfortable as well) but for some reason I don't and it doesn't matter how I mount them, it's always the same with them :(. So I guess the search is still on.
