Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Who would be interested?

Im thinking around early October time so everyone has their holidays out the way etc.

Any suggestions of dates and venues welcome.

If its somewhere with some scales that too would be good as a few have expressed an interest in a "weigh in" too.

We had a good turn out last time and it really was a good day, lets see if we can get some more turbos there *smiley*

Hopefully if we get sorted early enough then we can get mag featured this time, hopefully by now the mags realise we're out there and will be more interested in featuring what i believe to be the biggest mini turbo site in the world *smiley*

Iain,

You need to 'tie' this into a weekend like MITP, Combe, or something else...

I'm not too keen on driving miles just to go on a RR, but if it's close to where a mini event is being held, well that's ok...

There is that RR at MITP, but his results are a little 'optimistic' i think... Also, ?20 a run is a little too much, and he doesn't have a Fan either!!

Actually combe seems a good plan, get those cars spot on before the track. Its another event i want to attend, when is it? is it late september?

Yeah it is difficult getting everyone just to turn up for a RR, found that out last time but we did alright *smiley*

Looks like combe is Saturday 9th October according to the website.

RR on the friday or sunday?

Personally friday for me so i can get it set up before the event, then camp over if its somewhere near ready for the saturday.

Non turbos will be welcome as long as there are spaces which im sure there will be.

Be good to see what difference the power means on the track!

clubman_dan, never said you couldnt come, your car will be welcome, just saying in the very unlikely event we get overrun by 30 turbos turning up for the mag feature we'll have to just show the turbos *smiley*

come along and see why you should get your turbo done asap *smiley*

yeah - good RR that was - had the run-down correction for the losses, giving a flywheel hp figure... And the all-important torque curve!

Pretty accurate Rollers, and the guys knew their stuff aswell...

I'd say go with that place if i was deciding on a location...

First 5 port miniturbo to make over 200 bhp on a carb?
