hey guys.. My name is Gilles and i am from Malta!! Big METRO fan but i do own two minis too!! Just 19 years of age so just about to start my journey! I have an ex turbo metro and a MG metro fitted with a powerful turbo engine!! 14 inch rims and all that!!

i recently finished the overhaul of the engine and found a problem. i go for a ride say cruising and when i load the engine on 3rd or 4th it seems the power falls suddenly and the car turns off. i immediately restart the engine and wait 10 seconds and its back to perfect. I ant understand why full throttle everything is fine, but cruising and picking up some momentum is not!! What do you think?? anyone has any ideas or previous experience??

Welcome.

Could be the Part throttle lean off pipe. Mine was leaking and caused the problem that you describe.
