hey guys!!
My name is Gilles and i am from Malta!! Huge Metro fan, just 19 and already went through 5!! i recently overhauled a turbo engine and came about a slight problem. After major settings and all that it worked beautifully. At full throttle it peaks at 7 psi so i'm happy with that because here in malta, more psi means you're either dead by tomorrow or lucky to be alive.
after a day or two of cruising it seemed that everytime i try to accelerate from 3rd or 4rth and the turbo comes in, the engine dies out and wont respond to the throttle and the engine turns off. i start the engine immediately, leave it 10 seconds alone and then its back to normal. i'm guessing it the fuel pump but a friend told me that a pump is either working or not. i feel that on load whilst cruising, there is a lack of petrol and th pump cant cope. if someone has some insight on this problem or can help in any way, please do.
thanks from malta
PS i will post some photos of my little baby soon.
