I have a little wobble in my steering colum, i have tighten the bolts up and the plate that it bolts to is in place but it seens the bottom dash rail is flexing. Any ideas?

Are you sure the felt bush in the bottom of the steering column hasnt perished??

if the dash is flexing and you have a cage, install a door bar between the legs on the cage and mount the column to that.

Mines done in the above way and you could swing off it its that strong!

no cage. You can see the bracket the column is attacted to moving with it. I mite try doing the bush see if that helps but im wondering if i need some thicker steel to make some extra surport.

I think the bracket attaches to the Pedal box iirc. Check the bolts are done up nice and tight.

As mike said, The bracket attaches to the pedal box and dash rail with a pathetic "clamp" type arrangement.

It might be this that is loose

That clamp is absolute bollocks I hate it, have had no end of trouble with mine, everytihngs really tricky to get to - not to mention the "shear bolts" on it in the first place. The bane of my existence i think haha
