I didn't know this place website was here until turbodave mentioned something on minispares about it.
I like the layout of the message board, is it a bespoke message board backend or is it an off the shelf product.

We are only thinking of moving to php for licening reasons. To run a clustered Microsoft solution legally with sql and exchange is silly money, linux is a bit cheaper

see your point if your coming for a licencing point of view. But I still think that dot NET is the way forward. Suppose its a bit different from my point of view where making large enterprise applications with hundreds of thousands users will be using the applications each day. Where it sounds like your compiling small business soloutions.

Having said that you can use ASP.NET with a MTSQL backend without any issues. Have you looked into that?
