Well, started it a tiny bit today, turned over nicely i think.

When I first started mine I set it so that it would idle ok and then bought a Gunsons Colortune kit to set the mixture. It's no substitute for a proper tune up but it worked a treat for me! |

I'd do the same with the jet height as your mate's advised.
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
