If i sound a bit "miffed" then you would be right.

While at my machine today, working like the little scamp i am, when my mate came in from the unit next door to us and asked
"have you moved your engines somewhere?"

"NO i havent been in the back yard today" I replied

"Well someone has done you a favour and moved em for ya"

In our "secure" courtyard i have my engines in a little shelter in the corner, away from the rain so i can use stuff off em if and when i need it.

Anyway, it turns out either scrappers or gypos had chopped through our padlock and made their way in and took out some fabrication material such as window guarding and my engines!!!

Next step, Fix lock on gate,
so we put another chain and padlock on the gate in the hope of doing a proper job tommorrow.

It mustve been an hour later ,WHILE, we had been working and we went to lock our back door up ready for home and checked outside.
THE B*STAR*S HAD BEEN BACK!!!!!
They had broken through the gate again and took the chain and padlock and cleaned our backyard clean of heavy steel stuff.

Sheer frustration!!!!!!!

So we did a half arsed job as it was late and there was no more "valuable" stuff left in our courtyard.

Then traveling home on our 17mile journey, we came up with a flat tire. Luckily we had a space saver, but we spent about half and hour arsing about outside this old grannies house trying to get a seized spacer off the hub in order to fit the spare.
(She didnt even offer us a cuppa jus kept nosing at us out of her window with her blue rinse)

Oh well theres always someone worse off than you. (wolfie)

Its true there is always someone worse off...we ran out of sugar at work today and I had to have my tea without.. I don't know, some days I just don't know why I bother getting up!

I found a fiver on the floor in tesco's yesterday - in the main entrance, my mate saw it and said "is that a fiver?" so i just jumped on it and bagsied it haha.

The engineering shop where I worked lsat summer turned over shitloads of swarf - every friday we'd go weigh it all in and use the cash to get fish and chips for the lads on the way back. One week the pikeys had been round and just taken it all from the cage in the yard. Usually about 300 - 400 quid there which helps towards the christmas pissup aswell. Bastards

They do it all the time though, lead is their favorite as they go weigh it in - scum

We had a similar problem a few years back in our old unit. The trouble is they just don't care - happy to do it in broad daylight.
