We have a trent in Holland to shoot the covers or footballs from old milk containers. done with carbide. in the container you put some carbite, a little water, squeese a football in the neck and lite the carbite.
Mega boom and the ball (or steel cover) will fly hunderds of meters. The mega boom is awesome.
Let me see if I can come up with a website.

well here's the update we walked round every plumbing supplier in the area, (and there was a few).
and none of them supplied 2inch and 3inch diameter preessure rated plastic tubing.
it needs to be pressure rated to take the explosion in the chamber.
so plan b is buy some scrap exhaut pipes and make it out of metal.
updates when ever.
DAN :)
i like that idea too arno, the pics look cool.

I done this already :)

I had the same problem as you finding bits, but managed to improvise.

Hair spay works best by the way.

I'll post you a pic of mine later this week when I find it in the garage.

BTW the igniter in mine is bust due to excessive use, so if you find a good source then let me know!

ok, we were planning to use a gas hob lighter, the electrical type, should produce a good enough spark i guess.
