I bought one off of EBay and it's Chod!

Over boosts as yours does, and doesn't seem to boost high enough some of the time.
It's just not consistant

gone back to a bleed valve for the mo
Will try a better MBC sometime

What type of MBC is yours?
ball and spring?
The one I got was some sort of nylon valve inside

I use a brass check valve (grainger valve) it has a steel ball and spring and works perfectly with 10psi boost. No over boosting and it holds boost well. Even the rolling road operator commented on it.

I use a mega expensive ?5 std bleed valve, never had any problems so have no plans to change, maybe an amal valve in the future, but don't seen the advantage of an mbc
