I'm thinking about using a 5 speed helical box on the 980cc K100 engine. Maximum torque will be less than 100 ftlbs.

They list some, but you cannot buy them.

Hi Paul - the MS one is in production now (well the special bits are!) - I have one on order for a US crate motor build - lead time 6 weeks, its the onlt helical one out there or worth looking at

Having been slated by a supplier on another of Paul's threads lets say that one of the gearboxs used to have an unsupported 5th gear and used to go bang alarmingly regularly. At least JKD just used to wear. So go for the Southerner! On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

I've got a Mini Spares 5 speeder in mine, bought it when they were a cheap £500 kit (1993-ish). Not had a day's bother with it over the years and it looks pretty well designed, plus having seen one recently in MS London the latest ones look even better.
