After getting out of my mini this week, and back into my diesel focus estate, I must have underestimated the power of the focus, as last night I managed to loose control of the "beast" and hit a curb at around 10mph. This managed to push the nearside wheel so far back the car could not be driven, (photo's to follow) I thought I just bent the bottom wishbone (I did a good job, it;s like a banana), but today I pulled it apart and noticed a nice big bend in my track rod. I heated it up today I made it from a c shape to and S shape, it's not ideal. Does anyone know if I can just replace the track rod, and not the whole rack? If so, do I have to remove the rack to fit it?

Also, where can I get driving lessons???

welllll, i havent come across it to be honest, ha working at ford two years can ya believe it. But the picture in my head suggests that the track rod could be replaced on its own. Not 100% sure though. If you have no luck ill find out for ya 2moz *wink*

Cheers, Stevo
