I have 99% of the parts for a challenge spec sc gearbox I plan to build. It doesn't use the standard needle bearing on one side (the smaller gear end away from the drop gears) as the std type is too small in diameter. Does anybody know what bearing the laygear takes and where I can get one? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm confused as to which bearing you mean? A pic of which one would help here.

The needle bearing. The laygear takes 2 (1 each end) to enable it to rotate on the layshaft. On my laygear the hole for the needle bearing nearest the reverse gear area is too big for the std bearing.

As above I seem to recall the JK ones being specific and only available from JK.
