Mini A+ Series 1380 Block and Omega Pistons
This auction is for the following:
One completely stripped down A+ 1275cc block which has been bored to 73.5mm creating 1380cc. The block also has a 2 bolt reinforced center main strap.
The block would benefit from a chemical dip and paint as it is a little grubby but mechanically sound, the cross hatch honing marks are still visible in the bores. The block also still has a set of cam bearings installed, these would probably need removing pre-rebuild.
A set of 4 Omega 73.5mm 7cc dish cast pistons with rods. The pistons are stamped with the following numbers - "OMEGA 1003/11 CYL BORE 73.5".
Both the block and the pistons were removed from my mini project which in conjunction with (not included) a "stage 3" large valve head, kent md286 cam, 1.5 roller rockers and HIF44 carb made 89bhp @ wheels (over 100bhp @ flywheel). Unfortunately mortgage has forced sell of all parts.
Shipping - The complete package has weighed in at 35kg as such the cost for next day courier has come back as £21.95 + VAT (£25.80).
