Just refitted engine after a stupid mistake ! started engine and heard a rattle from timing cover(never did it before). stripped it down found chain been rubbing on cover. Do you have to modify the cover??? Stupid question do you fit a tensioner with a duplex chain set up??? |

You can have tensioner or not with duplex,but you have to hammer the lump by the timing marks out a bit and grind the 3/4 circle part down a bit

i normally just gently tap out the said area so it just missus the chain.
always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |
