He was parked up with Stuey for a bit, looks realy like a bog standard Cooper from the outside.

Pretty sure it was running high 15's......

if it was running high 15's and didnt stand out not suprising we missed it!

Is it supposed to be something special as far as power output is concerned?

Ofcourse it has lots of get up and go, he is a business man and he will say that!

What will he say about Stu's offset valve head where the valves hit the block??

Stu Gurr had an awsome mini turbo a good few years ago but people have learnt alot since then.

Stu was running mid 15's on about 9psi.

Two things you have to remeber is that he drove it there and back and it's still in development. Some of you guys have been working on your motors for years.

I've driven a mates Supercharged RSP (also parked by Stu's car) which was running low 16's and it's a are very different car to my Turbo running the same boost. I'd say traction would have been an issue, but on the road the RSP is mental and effortless and I think he's gear box will last longer.

Come along to Goodwood on the 10th of August to see some interesting comparisons (LSMOC track day).

There are still some spaces available if you are a member.

Well you're more then welcome to try.....hahahaha.

Stu Wright will be there with family and if it's anything like last year it should be fun.

Highlight of the day was being a passenger in Stu's Turbo chasing Mike Cooper's flame spitting 24 hour Nurburg racer (which was on slicks) and keeping up.

Mike brought this along as he wasn't happy when Stu overtook one of his new Works Coopers.

Alas things let go when chasing the racer, but it was good fun trying.... (Stu's words).

If you're interested in the track day check out www.lsmoc.co.uk, but you'll need to be quick as spaces are limited.

Alex is correct. I'll talk to organiser to see if joining at the same time would be possible if you want.

I want have time to get my mini track ready, it's ok in a straight line, but don't think it would last on the track at the moment.

I've spoken to the organiser and if you want to join and sign up for the track day down load both the membership form and trackday form from www.lsmoc.co.uk.

If you send both forms to the trackday address with cheques for each you should be OK. But you need to do this ASAP.
