1.3 rocker choice

I am going to be fitting a ph2 cam, which has a mixture of ppl using 1.3 and 1.5 rockers but the general consensus is that 1.3 are probably better.

now, should i:

1. stick with the standard rockers
2. fit roller tip rockers
3. fit full roller rockers

whats the advantage of full roller over just roller tip, advantages/disadvantages of each option?

the 1.3 roller tip ones are good for the money, i use the minisport ones and have been more than happy with them.

with actual tests from t3tone he swapped 1.5 for 1.3 and lost no power at all but the cam sees less stress than on 1.5's

I have been mulling this over myself, you can't get 1.3 roller tips other than the Minisport ones mentioned above. If you go 1.3 full rollers or 1.5 roller tips you can get a better choice of brands. I might go 1.5 roller tip as I still have 33.3mm intake valves.

i'm going to go with the 1.3 roller tips i think, less cam stress sounds good :)

That's a good point, easy on the lobes and valve guides. Hmm...
