2 post wind every time for me. easier access to the suspension, more compact, allow biggerjobs liek subframe removal to be carried out wiht ease as there is no obstructions. and less things to hit your head off.

4 post has only 2 benefits, somewher to put your tools and makes suspension geometry changes a snap as you can do allignment under the car while all its weight is on the wheels.

some people dont like 2 posts as they look flimsy and unstable. but the really are great to work with. imho.

i use two post lifts at work and you can lift transit sized vans on them without any trouble apart from how wide they are *tongue*, it was a doddle to use for the mini as the weigh nothing :) easy to work on and you can take the subframes in and out engines ect easaly with one

Drives
-Ford S-max Mk2 Ecoboost
-Rover 100 VVC #2 - track project

Searching is all you need on TurboMinis

hmmmm :( looks out at mini on the drive. have worked with 2 post lifts - never really thought about it when i was working underneath them, but they allow much more access for things like subframes than a four post imo
