do you have a copy of the old book that got sent away?

I usually take all the buyers details (see the driving licence for all their details) and make sure you send away the book when you get it.

I always give the buyer a receipt anyway with a 'sold as seen' note on it.

Do you have a buyer lined up? depending on how long ago the book was sent to DVLA, you may well receive it in the next week or so. I know some people on here have had problems waiting for V5's but mine have all come through within 2 weeks recently.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

i sold one before i had the log book back. it needed taxing so when they did that they had to fill out the details of new ownership and got the log book that way. didnt cause any problems.
